Meet the Staff
Willow Counseling values high quality, personable Nashville therapists - people who are easy to talk to, who make you feel at home in the office or through a screen, and who are skilled at helping you create effective change.
Every therapist at Willow Counseling provides trauma-informed therapy. In addition to trauma therapy, each therapist in Nashville specializes in different emotional concerns and has varying availability. All of our staff therapists are also trained as EMDR therapists so you don't have to worry about getting referred out to another therapist if it's determined EMDR therapy would be beneficial for you.
Don't know who you should work with? No problem! Give us a call at 615-235-3508 or email info@willowcounseling.org, and we'll help match you according to your needs!

Nashville Therapy Internship Program
Our mission has been clear from the beginning - to provide quality, trauma-informed mental health counseling to the Nashville community. This mission comes at a cost, and to stay afloat, most local therapists have to charge $150+ per session, us included. While we believe your mental and emotional well-being are worth the investment, we also recognize that those fees are unattainable for the majority of Nashville residents. Willow wants to offer quality yet affordable counseling to ALL residents in Nashville.
Thanks to our graduate-level intern education program, Willow Counseling is able to offer reduced fee sessions as low as $68 per session. To learn more about our standard fee structure and what to expect at your first session, visit our Schedule a Session page.
Join our Willow Counseling team!
Willow Counseling is growing! We are looking for Nashville therapists who value our mission, live with integrity, and are passionate about helping others. The ability to strive for excellence as part of a team, maintain a warm and compassionate demeanor, and seek out continual growth and learning is essential to working with us.
Willow Counseling holds high standards. We want to work with people who will do their job and do it well, people who are excited to be a part of something bigger than themselves, and people who can hold onto hope. We believe a group of committed, passionate people can do more for our community than a lone individual. Together we can bring hope and healing to our community!
Willow Counseling is currently interviewing for internship placements beginning Fall 2023. Priority will be given to students who can commit three semesters to Willow Counseling and who hold an interest in working with trauma, compassion fatigue, somatic therapies, and/or grief. Appropriate candidates will have completed the majority of their coursework and will be compassionate and hard-working team players. If you would like to be part of an evidence-based, trauma-informed mental health practice that values the whole self, review the application process and then complete an application.
Willow Counseling is currently accepting applications for licensed therapists with start dates in January 2023 or later. If you would like to be considered for these positions or any future job opportunities, review our job description and complete an application. Please note that therapists must be trained in EMDR.
